We decided to remove Google Analytics from CatholicLuv  because we want to make sure that your privacy is protected. According to W3Techs as of January 2021, Google Analytics is used in 84% of all known websites that use analytics, or 54% of all websites. It is so prevalent because Google provides the tool for free to website administrators, but there's a catch; not only do they provide useful data for owners of the website, Google uses the data for themselves. Google wants to know what sites you have been visiting to understand your interests in order to push ads they think you will click.
